The KZ AS-10 are better multi balanced armature headphones than the Westone W40. Their sound quality surpasses significantly the W40. The Westone, on the other hand, have an in-line mic and remote with volume control, that the mic variant of the AS-10 doesn't have. I own the AS10, and like it, but have always felt the construction could do with a cosmetic makeover. It appear KZ has done just that as well as tweaking the tuning - below. If the ASF doesn't have any major issues I might replace the AS10 with them. By the way, I'm aware of the ASX, but I'd need to see a more detailed analysis and review of ....
